Explore Kauai on a family-friendly guided kayaking and hiking tour of the Wailua river valley and Uluwehi falls a.k.a. Secret Falls. A professional tour guide will take you paddling through some of Kauai's most sacred waterways and hiking through some of the most beautiful lush tropical forest Kauai has to offer sharing myths, legends and some Hawaiian history all the way to Secret Falls.

We do sell out frequently and due to state regulations cannot take more people on our tour. However, please check out our sister company which will provide you with an amazing adventure to the exact same river and waterfall on a paddle board or kayak, except without a guide. You can enjoy the day at your own leisure.

Look for the STAND UP PADDLE shop and Dukes Kayak Adventures sandwich board next to it. Feel free to park nearby and your guide will meet you and take care of you from there.

  • Our meeting location is 4-361 Kuhio Hwy, Ste 106. Kapaa, 96746. We’re right off the highway in the shopping plaza. Look for the Kauai SUP shop and Dukes Kayak Adventures sandwich board. Your guide will meet you in the parking lot and check you in.

Must wear shoes that are secure to your feet. No flip flops. Please bring plenty of drinking water. Other recommended items to bring: swimsuits, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, lunch or a snack, and a towel. We do not provide food or water. Ziploc bags should be used for cell phones or cameras that are not waterproof. We will provide a dry bag backpack for your party.

Please note: if you are happy with your tour guide(we take great care with choosing who to work with and make sure they are qualified, professional and caring), then tips are encouraged. Also, please be advised that your party will be responsible for paying for the Hawaii State park parking fee of $5 per person plus $10 per car.

  • Not recommended for participants with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions.
  • Not recommended for pregnant women, back, knee etc injuries and no open wounds.
  • Participants must be able to hike approximately two miles through somewhat rocky and sometimes muddy, slippery terrain.
  • Subject to favorable weather conditions. We go rain or shine. If canceled due to flash flood warning, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
  • Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In this event, you will be fully refunded.
