Continue on to the Machado de Assis House and Valongo Wharf, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the Jardim Suspenso and Morro da Conceição, with their historic houses. Be sure to visit spots like Pedra do Sal, a famous samba hotspot, the Hilário de Jovino Mosaic, and the Bandeira do Brasil staircase. All great spots for photos. End the tour at Largo São Francisco da Prainha, voted one of the coolest neighborhoods in the world by Time Out in 2021. Be sure to try the region’s mouthwatering snacks with an ice-cold beer!
