Fort jesus is an historical fortress built by Portuguese on 15 century to guard and protect the indian ocean trade together with the old port of Mombasa. Here you will get to learn about the history and culture of the swahili civilisation as well as influences left by the traders who came from different parts of the world on the coastvof Kenya.

Mombasa Tusks

Here is to commemorate the last steps of Queen Elizabeth when she was in Kenya in 1952 and when she was also pronounced as the Queen of England by the steel built elephant tusks.
The tusks are also to mark the gateway to the city of Mombasa. Opposite tusks you will also get a chance to visit a public garden where local spend their free time relaxing their mind in the garden.
