Despre activitate
We start in Torcello, founded by Romans escaping from Barbarian. Guests will climb the old Roman watchtower and discover the very origins of Venetian civilization, today preserved by only a handful of residents in a timeless and peaceful setting.
The tour then continues to Burano, the island of fishermen and lace makers. Here you will visit a traditional lace workshop to see how this millennial art is still produced by hand. After exploring the colorful streets, guests may choose to enjoy a 1h seafood lunch on the island or spend this "free time" shopping at their own pace.
Finally, we reach Murano, world-famous for its glass tradition dating back to Roman times. During the visit to a glass factory, you'll watch glass master create extraordinary handmade crystal pieces!
At the end of the tour, we suggest staying in Murano for shopping in the "Glass Master street" for an independent exploration, as all guests will already have a full-day 24h public transportation "Vaporetto" ticket.
