Chengdu Exclusive Chinese Painting Private MasterclassExperience

Overview Chinese painting is one of the oldest continuous artistic traditions in the world. Painting in the traditional style is known today in Chinese as guóhuà, meaning "national" or "native painting", as opposed to Western styles of art. Traditional painting involves essentially the same techniques as calligraphy and is done with a brush dipped in black ink or coloured pigments. Joining in the experience, you will personally experience how to paint in the very traditional Chinese way in a quiet and undisturbed classroom. The unique presentation of Chinese painting is closely related with the tools and materials used. The tools used in Chinese calligraphy and painting, also collectively called the "four treasures of the study" are brush, ink, paper and ink stone. In this experience, professional teachers will instruct you, step by step, to draw a traditional Chinese painting with the "four treasures of the study". Don’t know what to paint? We have had the traditional Chinese plum blossom painting, panda images and many more. Just choose the one you like the most. If you want, you can bring the painting you draw as token of this special experience.
