After meeting your guide, depart your hotel and head towards the Andes and the Cajon del Maipo area located 31 mi (50 km) from Santiago. The road skirts the Maipo River, which accompanies with a great view over Andes foothills. After proceeding for one hour, the tour continues by ascending to El Yeso area, situated 62 mi (100 km) from Santiago and at 9,842 ft (3,000 m).

After arriving in the final destination El Yeso Reservoir, get ready to walk a 3 km trail along the reservoir, where you can take great photographs to capture this fantastic place.
