In the afternoon, climb Mount Phousi, the best viewpoint in the city. From its top you get 360° panoramic views over the temples, mountains and the Mekong and Nam Khan rivers, especially magical at sunset.

Day dedicated to discovering the main temples and the historical legacy of the city.
Visit to the old Royal Palace, now the Royal Palace Museum, an example of architecture that combines Laotian and French colonial influences.
Tour of some of the most iconic temples such as:
Wat Xieng Thong, the most important and representative monastery of traditional Laotian architecture.
