Despre activitate
Travel from Izmir to Pergamon, one of the most important cities of the ancient world, and explore a remarkable landscape shaped by Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine history.
With your professional guide, visit the ancient city and see its temples, terraces, public buildings, and steep hillside theatre while learning how Pergamon became a major center of culture, knowledge, and political power. The elevated setting also offers impressive views across the surrounding countryside.
Continue to the Asklepion, one of antiquity’s most celebrated healing centers, where treatments once combined natural therapies, bathing, music, and dream interpretation. After the visit, enjoy a lunch break in Bergama and time to experience the atmosphere of the town before returning to Izmir. Blending archaeology, scenery, and stories from the ancient world, this tour offers a memorable journey through the history of Pergamon.
