Drive 120 kilometers out of downtown Beijing where you can witness the vicissitude of history of this most intact and well preserved original section of the wall. Along the way, you will see some bullet holes and damages on the Wall from the flames of war in the past. Climb on the ridges of the Wall, as it's up and down along the hill like a huge dragon.

Put on your hiking outfit and set off at 8:00am. After a 2-hour, 120 kilometer drive from downtown Beijing, you will reach the Gubeikou Great Wall. Access a local village and then onto the wall from the South Heavenly Gate.
Climb and continue your steps and you will find yourself surrounded by beautiful scenery. Keep going up to General Tower, Watchtower and you will finally reach the highest point where you will see the amazing Jinshanling Great Wall in the east and Crouching Tiger Mountain towards west direction.
Stop and make a U turn to the 24 Eye Tower. The military restriction zone is ahead and you will continue for another 40 minutes of walking. Now, you have completed the happy journey and it's time for tasty lunch!
After your tour is finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing.
