The highlight of your visit is Caana, meaning “Sky Palace,” the massive temple complex that rises approximately 140 feet above the site. Climb to the upper levels for spectacular views across the surrounding jungle canopy and imagine what life was like when Caracol was home to a thriving Maya population.
