The former underground missile base is newly opened after the reconstruction and hosts the Cold War Museum (reconstruction funds were allocated from the European Structural Funds). Tourists can visit the underground and the missile silos labyrinth and get knowledge of the Cold War period, propaganda strategies, consequences of the nuclear explosions and the life in the military base.
The tour includes exploring the city of Palanga town. In Palanga, you will visit the Botanical Garden with the Amber Museum, see Sea Bridge, Basanavicius Street, the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and other points of interests.

In 1897 Count Felix Tiškevičius founded this park around the palace built in the same year. The park was designed by the famous French landscape architect and botanist Eduard Fransua Andre, (1840 -1911).

The Palanga Amber Museum is located in the restored 19th-century Tiškevičiai Palace and is surrounded by the Palanga Botanical Garden. The museum's collection of amber numbers about 28,000 pieces, of which about 15,000 contain inclusions of insects, spiders, or plants. The Baltic sea coast is known for its large deposits of amber, so the many of exciting museum pieces come from just outside the museum door.
