You will spend time in Piazza Navona where there is the old church of St. Agnes and Gian Lorenzo Bernini’s stunning Fountain of the Four Rivers, designed by him in 1651 for Pope Innocent X. The piazza was built over the ruins of the Emperor Domitian’s ancient stadium that once held up to 30,000 spectators.
The tour ends in the lovely Campo de’Fiori.
