  2. Meyers Place Bar

    Originally known as Nicholas Lane, Meyers Place connects Little Collins and Bourke up at the top end of town. Selected as one of the pilot projects for the city's new Green Your Laneways campaign, the laneway's grey walls have been brought to life by green galleries, including a giant Mike Makatron mural, 'Jungle Funk'.

    Sited in Parliament Gardens, Coles Fountain is a striking counterpoint to its historical garden setting. Its stainless-steel tubing forms a geometrical frame some three metres high, from which water cascades into a shallow pool below. To 'enter' the C-shaped fountain is to be virtually encircled by a curtain of water. It is set on finished bluestone paving, which reflects the geometry of the fountain. The plaque reads: 'A gift to the people of Victoria from G.J. Coles and Coy Limited'.

    The Collingwood mural is now one of only 31 known murals across the world by Haring that have survived, and one of only three that hasn’t been significantly over-painted. In recognition of its local, national and international significance, it was added to the Victorian Heritage Register in 2004.

  • The game starts at 3 Hosier Lane. After booking, we'll message you a code and activation link. Activate with your own email, then log in to the Questo app with that email. No message? Open the Questo app, tap "Bought a quest somewhere else?" and enter your booking reference number.

1. Activate your quest. Go to the unlock page on the Questo website (questoapp.com/unlock), enter your email and your code.

2. Download the Questo app on your phone (App Store or Google Play) and create an account with the same email used for activation.

3. Once you're logged in to the Questo app, open the Quests section. Your quest will be there, ready to be played.

IMPORTANT

  • Booked more than one ticket? You can invite the other participants right after activating, or later from the Quests section in the app.
  • If you don't see your quest in the Quests section in the Questo app, tap "Bought a quest somewhere else?" and enter your code again. You can also upload a screenshot of your booking confirmation there.

  • The quest is available every day, at any hour. Go to the starting point and begin whenever you're ready.
  • Download the story and the map before you head out. After that, it works without internet.
  • Start with at least 50% battery.
