    The Chapel of the Holy Shroud designed by Guarino Guarini and completed in 1683, destroyed by a terrible fire in 1997, is directly connected to the Royal Palace with an access corridor and offers a view of the Cathedral where the Holy Shroud is kept in the dark in a case in a controlled environment and atmosphere.

    The Shroud is therefore NOT visible, but it is possible, if requested and during the opening hours of the Turin Cathedral, to add a visit to the Cathedral and gather in prayer near the Shroud.
